They searched for information from their Maths books and chose the most appropriate gadget to show the concepts, definitions or geometric classifications. They learned while they were doing and manipulating in a motivating atmosphere.
When they finished their work, they had to expose orally their lap-books to their classmates and after that, they did an exam about Geometry.
On the other hand, they knew from the beginning how I was going to evaluate their work. They could always see and take into account the assessment sheet in the classroom. Lap-book assessment
